An amendment to the Schedule of Fees of Office, as prescribed by the Regulations to the Deeds Registries Act 47 of 1937, was published under GN R4447 in Government Gazette 50239 dated 29th February 2024. Click here to (then attached is the GG notice)
The amendments, which came into effect on 1st April 2024, include an increase of approximately 2% in the cost to register a transfer, and an approximate increase of 6.25% to register a bond.
