Transfer duty tariffs from 1 March 2023 to 29 February 2024:

All persons (Natural, companies and parties other than natural persons):

  • R1 – R1 000 000, rate: 0%
  • R1 000 001 – R1 512 500, rate: 3% of value above R1 000 000
  • R1 512 501 – R2 117 500, rate: R12 375 + 6% of value above R1 152 500
  • R2 117 501 – R2 722 500, rate: R48 675 + 8% of value above R2 117 500
  • R2 722 501 – R12 100 000, rate: R97 075 + 11% of value above R2 722 500
  • R12 000 001 and above, rate: R1 128 000 + 13% of value exceeding R12 100 000
